One of the presents that Oscar received for his recent 9th birthday was the Indiana Jones and the Lost Tomb LEGO set. Thanks to Auntie Emer, this was perfect as it combined his love of LEGO and the hype of the moment that is Indiana Jones. I love...

One of the best beaches in the area. At low tide there are loads of rock pools, rocks and a clean sandy beach which disappears at high tide. Clean clear water but unfortunately no life guard nor toilet facilities.

This low priced hotel/hostel was recommended by a friend as being good for short stays. It fitted my needs perfectly and I will be using it as my base for any future trips to London.

More beginner friendly than others in area. Big wide gentle practice slope right beside car park. Free if you don't go up in gondalas to upper slopes and restaurant. Button lifts pretty easy for rank beginners and less challenging than chair lifts. I...

Standard tourist fare but not bad and amazing value. Fixed price menus great. Try the fondue, raclette or pelas to get a feel for local cheesy dishes. Side salads not great. You'll leave sated and stuffed.
